Base Camp is The Outdoors Project's home at The Macs Farm in Ditchling East Sussex. Part field, part woodland with a permanent outdoor classroom, fire pit, Mud Kitchen, Nerf Arena, A Frame group shelter for rainy days and parking for coaches, toilets and plenty of space for exploring, learning and adventures!  The site is open from May to October each year.

What we do at Base Camp:

Meet The Macs:  Susie & Danny are a fourth-generation organic egg farming family.  As well as selling their amazing organic eggs & promoting organic food, animal welfare, farming and environmental education they also host their beautiful “Quirky Campsite”. Opening on selected weekends from May to August with three fields of fire lit camping, The Macs Shack – “cocktail bar”, Friday night wood fired Pizza night, Deano’s Snake Shack & The Outdoors Project “Base Camp” sessions running every Saturday.
