Viking Norse Alphabet - Spy Decoder

The Challenge:
The Vikings were amazing!  Probably one of my favourite points in history.

Above is the Viking Norse Alphabet. Vikings often used Rune Stones which were like big sign posts, leaving messages or warning to others.

Now it’s your turn to be a Viking Spy, decode the answers to our favourite Viking jokes below. Then test your viking alphabet skills. Can anyone write their name in Viking or send us a Norse message for us to decode?

1.    What do the Vikings call their silent language?

2.    Where do Vikings go when they get old?

3.    Did you hear the one about the Viking who was reincarnated?

FUN VIKINGS FACTS:
Viking never wore horned helmets, that was made up for movies.

Fenrir Grayback, the werewolf in the Harry Potter books, was named after a ferocious giant wolf from ancient Viking mythology.

Ever wondered where the word ‘berserk’ comes from? ‘Berserkers’ was the name of some terrifying Viking warriors who wore bear or wolf skins and howled in battle like wild animals!
