Saplings is back! | Brighton & Hove

The Outdoors Project - Saplings parent & toddler group - new term on sale

Saplings returns this spring!

After a short hiatus, Saplings parent & toddler group returns to Brighton & Hove!

This is our club for kids aged between 18 months (or a confident walker) to 4 years old (pre school), and their parents. It's a fun & sociable group for kids to enjoy the great outdoors!

Our previous Saplings instructors, Hayden & Lauren have moved on to other positions, and the club will now be ran by the wonderful Nicole.

What's it like?

We'll be hosting all the same stuff that The Outdoors Project is known for - getting kids playing & having fun outside, getting curious about the world around us, & learning in a creative & sensory way. If your child is in need of being active, interested in nature, or just loves to play outside then this is for them! Each session has a different main activity, including bug hunts, art trails, mud painting & more. They will be getting curious about the world around them, being introduced to a range of wildlife, doing some foraging, & making things to take home. Parents can get involved too, or just get sociable with other new parents.

How, when, where?

The summer term starts on 19th April and finishes July 5th. Running every Friday (excluding half term) at either 9:30am-10:30am or 11:00am-12:00pm.

Bookings are taken for the whole term via our website - https://www.theoutdoorsproject.co.uk/brighton/ We do accept late-comers too, paid for on a pro-rata basis, if there are any spaces remaining.

Sessions are held at St Ann's Well Gardens. We be just opposite the tennis courts (close to the cafe, just in from the Somerhill Road entrance).

Please come dressed for being outdoors, so a sun hat, airy clothing & sun cream if it's hot & sunny. Or waterproofs, outdoor shoes & some layers if it's cooler/wet/muddy. We sometimes use shelters/gazebos and tarps, but also love to play in puddles...!

See you there!
