The Outdoors Project Nottingham West Holiday Club goes to Dovedale Primary School
Trent Meadows was an epic location. Full of potential, plenty of space and trees, woodlands and let’s not forget the river and wildlife. It was a great location for our holiday clubs.
This time around we are running our holiday club at Dovedale Primary School, Long Eaton, NG10 3HU. The school field at Dovedale is large and has a mixture of oak, ash and willow trees which provide great shade and shelter for the children. Our holiday clubs are not just for the children who attend this particular school. We welcome everyone from any area and school!
At Dovedale Primary School we now can do campfires and fire lighting activities which weren’t possible to do at Trent Meadows because the area is classed as a nature reserve. Bushcraft is part of our repertoire, and we are glad that now we can offer a larger variety of sessions to the children.
