Are you enthusiastic about outdoors, adventure and working with children? 

Join our mission as an outdoors instructor and work to make a positive difference to young people's weekly lives and wellbeing.

Here’s a fun little project to test out your raft making skills!  There are tons of different methods and materials you can use, so let’s experiment by building a mini raft out of natural materials or materials you can find around the house. The aim is to see if you can make something that floats and even sails!
 

Now depending on how challenging you want to make this will depend on what materials you use. We always suggest starting off simple first to experience a successful raft and then building up from there.

A fun activity involving the humble yet mighty stick!  When embarking on a walk in our local green space or in our gardens there’s so much to see and find.  Throughout time many native people around the world have used “Journey Sticks” to collect items important to them, attach them to their stick and use the stick to retell the story of their journey. We challenge you to make a “Journey Stick” yourself to retell the story of your adventure in nature!

KIDS here's your chance to make your stamp on The Outdoors Project.    We’ll choose our top 2 to go into production ready for when we see you at clubs again.

The Outdoors Project team are missing our little friends (and each other) loads!      We can't believe how quick the time is flying by, like many we've had our ups and downs.. one major challenge in our house is keeping up with food demands.    Watch the video and find out how the kids can create their own snacks from natural resources!!

Merlin the legendary wizard was King Arthurs personal advisor back in the day (medieval day to be exact).

Now being a wizard, you must have a good knowledge of all things magical when it comes to helping your pal – the King - through some challenging times. Magic potions would be especially useful to a King and his knights of the round table surely?

Kites are great fun to make and play with! Here’s a simple kite you can make anytime with very little equipment. It’s a pull kite so it can be used inside and out!
